My wife, Anita, and I have been servants of the church in Baker Valley for about 17 years.  We have four beautiful children, five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren, a dog and many gophers who have taken up squatting on our land.  When we started in 1989 we were introduced to members of Alcoholics Anonymous and have had a work involving them ever since.

I attended Magic Valley Christian College in Albion, Idaho, and Baker College in Baker City, Oregon, where I received a Diploma.  My wife and I received our Bachelors Degrees from Eastern Oregon University in La Grande, Oregon, in Secondary and Elementary Education.  I worked for UPS for about 10 years and upon resigning planted the work of Baker Valley Church of Christ in Baker City, Oregon.

For 15 of the 17 years we rented a facility and a year and a half ago God presented us with a building.  With many changes and remodel we are finally seeing an end to most of it.  Our goal today is to affect as many hearts as possible for the kingdom of God.  We are moving in a very positive direction influencing all who would come to Jesus and help us build up the Body of Christ here in Baker City.

"I live by the truth that my talents and gifts of counseling, ministering and teaching are my gifts from God. When I glorify Him with these gifts this is my gift back to Him, and it begins and continues with the daily surrender of my life so I can be used as a vessel He can work through."
